Multimedia art installation ARMPIT CALIFORNIA EDITION was made by two Latvian artists – Katrīna Neiburga and Andris Eglītis. ARMPIT CALIFORNIA EDITION is a sculpted system of building constructions interwoven with video-stories about men who tend to spend their leisure time tinkering with various mechanisms in garages that are set up for this hobby. It consists of six spaces or rooms each focusing on different aspects of this phenomenon.

Prior to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this work was shown at the 56th Biennale Arte (Venice, Italy) which took place from May 5 – November 22, 2015. For this iteration of the installation artists adapted the artwork for an outdoor setting and added two new spaces.
