Riga city summer culture program in Viesturdārzs - one of the oldest public parks in Riga - was ran by the association “Ascendum” and the online magazine “Satori”. Over the summer of 2022, a program of 15 community events took place including acoustic concerts in the early hours of the morning, Ukrainian literature readings, workshops for families and kids, an impressive singing event - a hip-hop and choir duo - among many others. The goal of this community program was to revive the perception of usage of public parks in Riga city, demonstrating various ways in which links between friends, neighbors and any city residents or guests can be strengthened through various cultural and social events.

The programme was awarded the Riga City Council Culture Prize White Sparrow of the year 2022.
